Dr. Breckwoldt earned his medical degree from New York Medical College, where he graduated with honors (top 9% of the class). He completed his residency at the United States Naval Hospital in San Diego, California and served six years of active duty in the United States Navy, achieving the rank of Lieutenant Commander. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Kentucky. He also holds a master's degree in anatomy from New York Medical College.Prior to joining Piedmont Physicians, Dr. Breckwoldt was in solo practice with Premier Internal Medicine.
